What to Expect
Your injector will begin your appointment by cleansing your skin with an alcohol wipe. This will help reduce your risk of infection after your injections.
Once your face is clean, your provider will inject your muscles with Jeuveau®. This could take about 15 to 30 minutes, depending on what areas of your face you are treating. Once your injections are finished, you’ll be able to go about your day as normal.
Pre-Treatment Instructions
Following these instructions will help you prepare for anti-wrinkle filler and ensure your injection appointment runs smoothly.
Hydrate Well
Drinking plenty of water 2 days before your appointment will help your body heal faster.
Avoid These Medications
You should avoid medications such as aspirin, Advil, ibuprofen, and other blood-thinning supplements (e.g., vitamin E, fish oil) for 10 days before your appointment.
No Alcohol/Tobacco
Do not drink alcohol or use tobacco products for 2 days before your appointment. These will keep your body from healing and reduce the efficacy of Jeuveau®.
Post-Treatment Instructions
