What to Expect
We begin your body contouring treatment with an initial consultation. Our team will review your medical history and understand your health goals to determine the best treatment for you. It is a heat-based procedure, so you’ll feel some warmth during treatment, but otherwise, you should be completely comfortable. Most clients compare it to the feeling of a hot stone massage.
Pre-Treatment Instructions
These instructions will help you achieve the best results after undergoing Emtone® skin tightening.
Shave
Shave, not wax, the treatment area, as hair can affect the applicator’s movement and overheat the area during your skin firming treatment.
No Alcohol/Tobacco
Do not drink alcohol or use tobacco products for at least 24 hours before your session.
No Tanning
Limit your time in direct sunlight, tanning beds, and tanning lotions for 2 weeks before your cellulite treatment appointment.
Post-Treatment Instructions
Following these instructions will help you maintain your Emtone® results.
Avoid Hot Water
Avoid hot showers, saunas, or hot tubs for 24 hours after treatment. Use lukewarm or room temperature water and gentle cleansers to wash your skin.
No Tanning
Do not intentionally tan for two weeks following your treatment. Use a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen when in direct sunlight.
No Alcohol/Tobacco
Continue to avoid consuming alcohol or using tobacco products for at least 24 hours after your Emtone® session.
